Hello, dear readers. My name is Amy and I’m 17 years old. I live in the bustling city of Sandton. I’m currently in high school, I have a passion for academics and pursuing my dreams.
I’m here to share my whirlwind of life experiences, self-discovery, and, most importantly, unwavering determination as I strive to make my dreams a reality and hopefully be a part of your career journey too.
Here’s a few interesting things about me:
I’ve always had a sense of purpose and self-awareness that’s guided me through life’s twists and turns. I’m particularly proud to be bisexual—embracing who I am has been an essential part of my journey, and it has helped shape the person I am today.
I’m extremely dedicated to my studies. Maintaining excellent grades is a top priority for me because I know that a strong educational foundation is key to achieving my dreams. I see myself as a future news presenter, and I’m determined to get there. My knack for effective communication and my personality type make me feel like I’d be great at it, and I think my passion and skills fuel my determination to succeed. I can totally see myself covering a massive event or news incident live on the hour, reporter-voice and all!
Outside the world of academics, I find solace in music. Playing the guitar is my way of unwinding and expressing myself. There’s something magical about strumming those strings that helps me find my centre. I’m also an avid reader, with a particular love for mystery novels. There’s nothing quite like immersing myself in a gripping whodunit.
I just love laughter and making others laugh. My sense of humour is definitely a powerful tool for bringing joy to those around me.
