SEE YOUTH WEBSITE AND ONLINE SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the See Youth website and participation in any See Youth programmes, including but not limited to the Take a Child to Work initiative.
By accessing or using the See Youth website or participating in any associated programmes or online services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
In terms of section 11 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”), these Terms and Conditions are binding and enforceable against all persons that access or use the See Youth website or any related services offered by Cell C Limited or Cell C Service Provider Company (Pty) Ltd.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately cease use of the website and any associated services.
- Definitions and Interpretation
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
See Youth – means the youth development initiative by Cell C aimed at empowering learners through career exposure and skills development opportunities.
The See Youth Website – means the official See Youth platform owned by Cell C and operated in partnership with authorised service providers, accessible at https://www.seeyouthbycellc.co.za, including any page, part or element thereof.
Take a Child to Work or “TACTW” – means the See Youth flagship programme that provides Grade 10–12 learners with structured workplace exposure through participation in approved host organisations.
Cell C – means Cell C Limited (registration number 1999/007722/06) and Cell C Service Provider Company (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2001/008017/07).
Online Services means all digital services offered through the See Youth platform, including learner registration, school participation, company hosting, programme applications, and any related digital tools, content, or interactive features.
User or you – means any person who accesses or uses the See Youth website or online services, including learners, parents or guardians, schools, and participating organisations.
Words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa.
Any hyperlinks contained in these Terms and Conditions are provided for convenience. The fact that a hyperlink may be non-operational shall not affect the validity or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.
- Disclaimer
While reasonable efforts are made by Cell C and its partners to ensure the accuracy, availability and reliability of the See Youth website, programmes and online services, no warranties or representations, whether express or implied, are made regarding the completeness, accuracy or reliability of any content, information or services provided.
The See Youth platform, its content, and associated programmes are provided on an “as is” basis and may be subject to change or interruption without notice.
Cell C does not guarantee that the website or online services will be available at all times, or that they will be free from errors, interruptions, or delays.
Use of the website and participation in any programmes is at the user’s own discretion and risk.
- Programme Overview and Participation
See Youth is a youth development platform that connects learners, schools, and organisations to career exposure opportunities and workplace experiences.
The Take a Child to Work (TACTW) programme is a flagship initiative that enables Grade 10–12 learners to gain structured, real-world exposure to professional environments through participation in approved host organisations.
Eligibility
Participation in See Youth programmes is open to:
- Learners
- Schools
- Corporate and partner organisations
Specific eligibility criteria, including age, grade, or programme requirements, may apply depending on the initiative.
Minors
As many participants are under the age of 18, participation in any See Youth programme requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian prior to registration or involvement.
- User Responsibilities
By accessing the See Youth platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current and complete information when registering or participating
- Use the platform and programmes for lawful and legitimate purposes only
- Not misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the website, its functionality, or other users
- Respect the integrity and intended purpose of the See Youth programmes
- Safety and Participation
Cell C and its programme partners take reasonable steps to ensure that participating organisations are appropriately vetted and approved.
While every effort is made to facilitate safe and structured experiences, participation in any programme or activity is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.
- Data and Privacy
Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with the See Youth Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Such information is used strictly for programme administration, participation, communication, and related purposes.
- Intellectual Property
All content made available on the See Youth platform, including text, graphics, trademarks, branding, and materials, is the property of Cell C or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
- Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cell C and its partners shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury arising from:
- Use of the See Youth website
- Participation in any programme or activity
- Any interruption, delay, or unavailability of the platform
Participation in the platform and programmes is at the user’s own risk.

The See Youth platform may contain links to third-party websites or resources.
Cell C does not control or endorse such third-party content and accepts no responsibility for their availability, accuracy, or content.
